About the Private Lender Resource
We created this resource to fill one of our members’ unique needs — finding service providers that truly specialize in working with private lenders. While many companies will say they can work with “any financial/lending business,” our members have found that “can” is not enough. That’s where we come in.
The companies in our Private Lender Resource specialize in working with private lenders, offering products and services that meet their unique needs and business processes within the larger financial industry.
Where to find the published Resource
The live Private Lender Resource is available 24/7 to our members online in the Member Dashboard. We publish the Resource in Private Lender Magazine on the following schedule (subject to change, but all categories will be published at least once annually):

As companies that have demonstrated their commitment and support of our industry, our service provider members receive priority placement in both the online and print versions of the Private Lender Resource.

- Private lenders must be a significant part of your client base.
- Your service must primarily be in one of the following categories (not a niche/one-off part of what you do).

We will review your nomination for eligibility. Due to our small staff and due diligence process, this can take a week or two. We will then follow up with you to let you know the results of our review, and, if applicable, reach out to the company to let them know we are publishing them in the Resource.
In many cases, this is because we have specifically chosen not to include the service provider category in our Resource. The Resource is reserved for business types that require private lender specialization rather than generalists. Examples of non-Resource categories:

No. Because the private lender industry is a niche industry — and the number of service providers who specialize in working with private lenders even more so — our goal is to build complete list, not create a money-making opportunity.
We reserve priority placement in the online and published Resource for AAPL members. Why? We want to reward service provider members who, although they are not private lenders themselves, are dedicated to supporting the private lending profession, our members, and association efforts.
