Overview: The CFM 101 program bridges industry practices, investment theory, and ethical and professional standards to provide investment analysis and portfolio management skills. It will help you answer the question; “Is a mortgage fund my next growth opportunity?”
Topics covered include:
- Pros, Cons and Consideration,
- Structure,
- Creation & Launch of a Fund,
- On-going Administration,
- AAPL Code of Ethics, and
- Designation Marketing.
Although not required, for new lenders we recommend taking our Certified Private Lender Associate course in advance of Certified Fund Manager. CFM 101 (this course) is also the prerequisite course for CFM 201 which is taught in-person only at our Annual Conference.
You must complete the course within 60 days. All course access, including ability to replay modules, expires 60 days after purchase.
Other course structure information and FAQs:
- Each course module consists of a video with all videos together totaling 3 hours 40 minutes plus self-paced exam.
- To progress to the next module, each video must be viewed in its entirety.
- During initial playback, there is no ability to fast forward (you may rewind).
- If you refresh the page during initial video playback, the video module will restart with no ability to fast forward.
- After you’ve completed a module and advanced to the next module, you may return to any completed modules with full fast forward/rewind control.
- Presentations and handouts are not provided.
- You may take notes/screenshots and replay modules at any time during your 60-day self-paced course access.
- The final exam is self-paced but must be completed in a single sitting.
- You must earn an 80% or higher on the exam to pass the course.
- You may retake the exam once if your first attempt does not earn a passing grade.
- All course access, including the ability to replay modules, expires 60 days after purchase.
