As we look ahead to the 17th Annual AAPL Conference, I am proud of what our association has accomplished this year. The conference is always a highlight, bringing professionals from across the private lending industry together to learn, network, and exchange ideas. This year’s event continues that tradition while giving us an opportunity to consider where our industry is headed next.

The conference also marks a natural point to reflect on the work AAPL has delivered throughout the year. Education and professional development remain central to our mission, and we made meaningful progress in expanding those opportunities for members.

This year, AAPL launched four packaged learning courses, giving members accessible, on-demand opportunities to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their expertise. We also hosted more than 12 webinars addressing timely issues and emerging trends, providing practical insights members can apply within their organizations.

We continued fostering open dialogue through our State of the Industry updates and roundtables. These conversations give members a forum to raise challenges, explore opportunities, and share perspectives that help shape the direction of our association and our industry.

None of this work happens without the commitment of our members, volunteers, committee leaders, speakers, authors, and sponsors. Your time, expertise, and willingness to contribute continue to strengthen AAPL and the value it provides to the private lending community.

As we gather for the 17th Annual Conference, I encourage you to make the most of the opportunities to learn, connect, and contribute. The relationships built and ideas exchanged through AAPL are part of what moves our profession forward.
