Our January Member Spotlight shines on David Rosenberg, Co-Founder at Futures Financial!

Throughout his career, David Rosenberg has worked all over the industry from being a licensed real estate broker and loan officer to working in residential distressed debt, from traditional and non-traditional mortgage financing to asset management and ground-up construction, from residential development to selling mortgages on the secondary market. Chances are if you have a question, he probably has the answer! David helped expand Kondaur Capital, generating over thirty million dollars in revenue and liquidated hundreds of residential assets. While he has clearly had a successful career, what you may not know about David is that he was a kicker for the University of Oregon!

Why did you become a member?

Kendra Rommel told me I needed to join in 2015.

What is your favorite AAPL memory?

Leading a roundtable on educating new entrepreneurs about starting and running a fund.

Why did you decide to enter the private lending profession?

I entered private lending because it offers a unique blend of finance, entrepreneurship, and relationship-building. It allows me to help investors or individuals achieve their goals by providing capital or raising capital that might not be available through traditional financial institutions.

What are some accomplishments you are particularly proud of?

Launching FUTURES Financial in 2022 and Successfully closing two closed-end funds within six months with my partner Kendra Rommel.

What is your favorite book, and why?

“The Mamba Mentality” by Kobe Bryant. The steps he took to prepare mentally and physically to not just succeed but be the BEST
