“Whatever you do today … do it with the confidence of a four-year-old in a Batman Cape.” – Unknown

If ever there were words to live by, this modern take on confidence and self-motivation is it; and words that Kendra Rommel, sales manager at Civic Financial Services, takes to heart. This high-powered fitness enthusiast brings that mindset into all aspects of her life, from her love of dirt biking to being the top-producing account executive at Civic. Learn more about Kendra:

How long have you been an AAPL member?

Civic has been a member for seven years.

What AAPL benefit do you MOST value?

For me personally, the Conference, AAPL Designations, & Webinars have proven the most beneficial. Not to mention, Linda Hyde has been terrific to work with! Great gal!

Why did you become a member?

Although I’m not an elected Civic spokesperson, I have been promoting Civic’s involvement for the past three-plus years. The reason I began looking to be more involved with AAPL is it was one of the only associations over the past 24+ months bringing value to the space on a larger scale. The annual conference drew a nice crowd of intelligent needle movers.

What is your favorite AAPL memory?

The AAPL Conference in Vegas. However, I am just learning about the other opportunities within AAPL.

Why did you decide to enter the private lending profession?

I have been in the mortgage industry for 24 years and like any career I have made moves as opportunities have presented themselves. Private money was a natural segway from the NPL/Asset Management space that I was in for six-plus years.

What are some accomplishments you are particularly proud of?

This is so hard.

  1. President’s Club @ Civic – Highest-producing account executive with over 200M in production
  2. The Rommel Team – First & only account executive to build a team within our organization
  3. Rommel Report – My newly launched podcasts that promote others and their businesses
  4. My Children!! It’s challenging but also the most rewarding of all things I’ve ever done in my life.

What is your favorite book, and why?

I have many favorites. Currently reading Connected to Goodness by David Meltzer.
