What should we know about Res/Title?

Res/Title is a nationwide title and settlement company that has been helping clients navigate the title and closing process since 1994. We provide title, settlement, and closing services across the country, with a team that brings extensive experience and knowledge to every transaction. While we’ve grown into a nationwide company, we’ve always believed in keeping things personal and building strong, lasting relationships with the people we work with. At the end of the day, we strive to be more than just the company handling the title work; we want to be a resource, a partner, and an extension of our clients’ teams.

How long has your company been an AAPL member?

We just joined!

What benefit are you most looking forward to from membership and why did you join the association?

We joined AAPL because we wanted to connect with more people in the private lending and investment real estate space and share some of our own expertise and knowledge from the title side with others in the industry. We’re looking forward to building relationships, sharing ideas, and learning from the different experiences and perspectives of other members. We really value being part of a community where people are willing to connect, help each other, and share what they’ve learned.

What, if anything, would Res/Title like to contribute to fellow AAPL members and the private lending industry?

We’d love to contribute valuable education and resources from the title and closing side of the industry. There are so many moving parts in private lending, and we want to be a resource for our partners when questions come up or they need a different perspective. Whether it’s sharing knowledge, talking through a title or closing scenario, or simply connecting someone with the right resource, we’re always happy to help.

What differentiates Res/Title in this space?

What really differentiates us is the way we approach our relationships. We don’t want to be just another company handling a title or closing, we want to be a resource and a partner to the people we work with. Our team has a lot of experience with the title and closing side of private lending, and we’re always willing to share that knowledge, answer questions, and talk through situations when someone needs a second opinion or a little guidance. We also have a great team of people who genuinely care about the relationships we build. For us, it’s about being accessible, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, and making sure our partners know they have someone they can turn to.

What’s an interesting or little-known fact about Res/Title or its leadership?

One of the things that makes Res/Title unique is our history and the longevity of our team. We’ve been around since 1994, and many members of our executive team have been with the company since very close to its inception. People who come to work at Res/Title tend to stay, and we think that says a lot about our company, our leadership, and the culture we’ve built over the years. We’re proud of that history and the relationships that have grown along with it.
